01 / INSTALLATION
macOS says it cannot verify the developer.
The current Fide Island build is not yet signed or notarized through the Apple Developer Program. macOS can therefore block the first launch even when the DMG came from the official site.
Follow the dedicated installation guide and Apple’s confirmation steps. Do not download replacement builds from unofficial mirrors.
02 / PERMISSIONS
A feature cannot access Calendar, Notes or system controls.
Permissions are optional and requested by macOS for specific features. Open System Settings and check the relevant privacy category. If you previously denied access, enable it there and reopen Fide Island.
The current app does not request Camera, Microphone or Screen Recording permission.
03 / FREE TRIAL
The three-day trial does not start or refresh.
The trial needs an internet connection to contact the Fide Island access service. It is limited to one three-day period per installation and does not require an email address or card.
If the app reports a server or access error, include the exact message and your app version when contacting support. Do not send your Keychain contents or other secrets.
04 / PAID ACCESS
A purchase is complete but access is not active.
Use the same email address that was entered during Paddle Checkout, then request and enter the one-time code in the Mac app. Check spam or junk folders if the email is delayed.
For billing, cancellation or refund questions, include the purchase email and Paddle transaction or receipt reference. Never send full card details.
05 / CONTACT
Contact Fide Island support.
Email the support address below. For technical problems, include your macOS version, Mac model, Fide Island version, steps to reproduce and the exact error text.
Do not send passwords, API keys, authentication codes, full payment-card details, clipboard contents or private files.
