Notes + Translator
This release expands the island with two new everyday tools while keeping the app local-first.
- Apple Notes: added a Notes tab with recent-note browsing, search, create, edit, save, refresh, and Open in Notes actions.
- macOS Automation: Notes access is permission-gated by macOS and can be revoked in System Settings. Fide Island does not create a separate cloud copy of Apple Notes content.
- Apple Translator: added translation powered by Apple's Translation framework on macOS 15 or later, with automatic source-language detection and selectable source/target languages.
- Supported translator choices: Russian, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Turkish, Ukrainian, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
- Privacy: translation content is processed on device; the website policies now separately explain Notes, Translation, and website-only analytics.
- Website: updated the walkthrough video, support address, privacy pages, and added an opt-in Microsoft Clarity cookie banner for website analytics/session replay only.
