GETTING STARTED / INSTALL

Download and install Fide Island on your Mac.

Fide Island is currently distributed directly as a DMG for macOS 14 or later. The current build is not yet signed or notarized through the Apple Developer Program, so macOS may ask you to confirm before opening it.

01 / DOWNLOAD

Use the official Fide Island website.

Download the current DMG only from fideisland.it.com. When the download finishes, open the DMG and move Fide Island to your Applications folder.

CURRENT DISTRIBUTION STATUS

The app is independently distributed and the current build is not signed or notarized by Apple. This page states that limitation directly rather than presenting the build as Apple-verified.

02 / GATEKEEPER

If macOS cannot verify the developer.

Try to open Fide Island once and close the warning. Then open System Settings → Privacy & Security, find the message about Fide Island and choose Open Anyway. Confirm the decision with your Mac password or Touch ID.

Apple documents this workflow in its official guide to opening an app from an unidentified developer. Read the warning carefully and proceed only if you intentionally downloaded Fide Island from this website.

03 / TRY THE APP

Start the three-day trial inside Fide Island.

Open the app and choose Start my free trial. No email, checkout or payment method is required. The trial does not renew automatically and nothing is charged when it ends.

If you later subscribe, use the purchase email in the Mac app and confirm the one-time access code.

04 / OPTIONAL ACCESS

Enable features when you need them.

Calendar, Apple Notes Automation, Input Monitoring, Bluetooth and selected-file access are tied to specific features. Camera, microphone and Screen Recording permissions are not requested by the current app.

Review the complete permission table before enabling a feature. Permissions can be changed later in System Settings.

05 / TROUBLESHOOTING

Still unable to open Fide Island?

Include your macOS version, Mac model and the exact wording of the message when contacting support. Do not send passwords, API keys or payment details.
