1. Current checkout status
The website is designed to open Paddle Checkout for a recurring monthly subscription. No charge occurs until the customer reviews Paddle's final localized total and confirms payment in the checkout overlay.
This policy must be reviewed against the operator's jurisdiction and applicable consumer law before live payments are enabled.
2. Refund requests
If you are charged in error, experience a material technical problem that prevents reasonable use, or believe a refund is required by law, contact support with the email used at checkout and the transaction or receipt identifier. We will review the request and, when applicable, coordinate with the payment provider.
We do not require you to waive statutory cancellation, refund, warranty, or chargeback rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
3. Renewal and cancellation
When recurring billing is enabled, the checkout should disclose that the subscription renews automatically until canceled. Canceling a subscription should stop future renewals. Unless required otherwise by law or the payment provider, cancellation does not automatically refund a period that has already begun.
4. Paddle purchases
If Fide Island uses Paddle as merchant of record, Paddle may appear on the receipt or statement and may process tax, invoicing, cancellation, and refund workflows. Paddle's customer-facing terms and legally required refund rights may apply in addition to this policy.
